Solving MES challenges with ProMISe
Prysmian UK faced challenges within its existing MES landscape. As a recognized supplier to Prysmian, S&S Systemswas asked to support the analysis and resolution of these issues. Using the ProMISe QMHub module, the complete MES infrastructure of Prysmian UK was mapped out in a structured and transparent way.
Through an interactive dialogue within QMHub, Prysmian UK documented their MES architecture using multi-layered, connected diagrams and schematics. Without the need for extensive travel, a complete and accurate understanding of the system was achieved.
The unique strength of QMHub proved to be that, by structuring and explaining their own processes and systems, the Prysmian UK team identified the root cause themselves and implemented the solution independently. This clearly demonstrates the value of QMHub as a thinking and structuring tool for the customer.
